The ribbon cutting ceremony was limited in attendance due to current statewide COVID-19 restrictions, but was broadcast live on the Ferrell Hospital Facebook page.

Today, Ferrell Hospital officials and community leaders broke ground on the $34 million project, described as “transformative,” that will expand and modernize the hospital’s 25- bed facility.

Ferrell Hospital has secured funding, as well as local, state and national approval, to begin a $34 million expansion and modernization of their 25 bed facility. 

The project, which is set to begin later this fall, will include expanded imaging and surgical facilities, a larger and modern emergency department, and renovation of patient rooms to create more private (rather than semi-private) rooms.
