Depression Self Screening

If you or a loved one needs immediate help with a mental health or addiction situation,  Depression is a type of mental illness where people feel sad, irritable, and/or withdrawn for more than two weeks. These feelings are so strong, they can disrupt normal routines and interfere with a person's ability to function. 

Symptoms can include:
  • Sadness
  • Loss of interest or pleasure in activities you used to enjoy
  • Change in weight (gaining or losing)
  • Difficulty sleeping or sleeping too much
  • Energy loss/feeling tired all the time
  • Feelings of worthlessness
  • Thoughts of death or suicide

A score of 5 or more points suggests depression. If you have a score of 5 or higher, we recommend discussing these results with your doctor or primary care provider. You may also contact our behavioral health team.
